Your Treatment Experience
Your PRP facial at Amore Medical Spa will begin with a simple blood draw, just like a routine blood test. While you wait, the drawn blood will be centrifuged to separate the platelet rich plasma from the blood cells. Once fully processed, the PRP will be injected into your face with microneedling. The ultra-fine, tiny needles create microinjuries that allow the PRP to penetrate the skin.
As the PRP penetrates the skin, it stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin. Over time, this helps the skin to become more youthfully plump and firm as new, healthy skin cells form. As the weeks go by, your skin will become smoother, tighter, firmer, and younger. You may also see a reduction in dark spots, sun damage, and acne scars. While these results frequently appear even after one PRP facial, ideal results are best maintained with regular treatment sessions.
